Very straightforward, and even the Sinden lightgun software was all installed and configured (also Xbox 360 controller, which you will need too, along with a keyboard). To avoid all the fiddly stuff I'm downloading pre-configured SD card images with everything set up, which I put on a card with Win32DiskImager.
